Everything that is the heavens and earth glorifies Allah.
سَبَّحَ لِلَّـهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth exalts Allah, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (al-Hashr: 1)
They exalt Him and declare His Perfection. Tasbeeh means to declare Allah free from all kinds of weaknesses, faults, imperfections and resemblance to any of His creation. There is nothing like or similar to Him.
So one of the most virtuous deeds that we can busy ourselves with, is to do His Tasbeeh.
The Prophet ﷺ said, “Some words (du’as) that are repeated are such that the one who says them is never deprived;
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
a hundred times.” [al-Adab al-Mufrad]
So if you feel deprived in any area of your life, start doing Tasbeeh and Allah will grant you contentment and peace.
