In these ayaat, Allah is telling us not to let our wealth and children divert us from His remembrance, and He also alerts us to the dangers of procrastinating when it comes to doing good deeds (more specifically, spending). يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُلْهِكُمْ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَـٰدُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّـهِ ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَـٰ[...]
Shuh means to be stingy, miserly, self-fish, close-hearted and unwilling to spend. It's when a person is not ready to give or spend on others, but demands fully in return. And this characteristic is something that is extremely disliked in our religion. In life, a person lives in either of two ways.
